capilano suspension bridge
Having read about the Capilano suspension bridge in tour books and on those hotel fliers, it never occurred to me that the park would be like a woodsy theme park. I had some fear about the suspension bridge. We finally braved it after Margaret and Frank's visit last month. It certainly was long, but all the little kids happily walking along made me feel silly. It was certainly very sturdy in the end. For less than the price of a full price ticket, BC residents get a discounted 1 year pass. Well, a pass that goes until end of 2010. It was a nice outdoors walk anyway. They also had very cute owls.

Awesome pictures. I used to live in North Van and this brought it all back. Thanks for posting.

That's awesome! I was there a few years ago when I did my roadtrip. I stopped at the suspension bridge on my way to the Grouse Grind. You gotta do that if you want a crazy hike

My wife and I used to do the Grouse Grind quite a bit (more my wife than me actually) and then take the Gondola back down. North Van is an incredible place to live if you like the outdoors.
